Continuing with the folding knife reviews here is the Ontario RAT Model 1. This knife was designed by Randall's Adventure Training which some of you may be familiar with. This is an amazing knife with a lot of good reviews. Personally, this is one of my favorite knives and I actually carry it everyday. A lot of knives in this price range feel a little cheap and might have a little play or wiggle in the blade. This is definitely not the case with the RAT Model 1. It's an extremely solid knife with absolutely no play in the blade. It feels great in your hand and is very well made. Similar knives of quality and craftsmanship would go for atleast twice the price tag of $32.50 for the RAT 1. The thing that stands out the most about this knife is how extremely sharp it is. Let me tell you, this is one of the sharpest knives I have ever owned and after every day use it has held it's edge with no visible wear on the blade. Other nice features of the RAT 1 are an index finger groove for added grip stability, jimping on the top of the spine of the blade for controlled cutting and dual thumb studs for easy opening. It also has a 4-way reversible pocket clip for all carry situations. The RAT 1 comes in many blade and handle configurations: od green, black and desert tan grips, plain and serrated edges with black or satin blade finishes.
