Over the next few weeks we will be discussing Personal Survival Kits. We wanted to start off with the most popular topic-Altoids Survival Tins. I will tell you why we are not fans and go over the various reasons why. We will also give you some other options. I know many of you out there use the Altoids tins and love them. We are not asking you to change, but to keep your options open. I just know, I won't put the security of my survival gear in the hands of a $1.99 candy tin-it doesn't even protect mints well.
