HardCase Survival Compact Fire Kit

Mike Everett here again with the compact fire starting kit from HardCase Survival. This kit includes the HardCase Survival SERE saw, ferro rod, 4 tinder tabs and a standard water proof orange match container. This is a great little kit that can easily be carried in your pocket or stored in your survival bag. I won't go into all the details since we have covered most of these items in earlier posts. This kit is very light weight but will not float when everything is inside the match case. The SERE saw is an awesome little tool and can be used to strike the ferro rod. Like I said, this is a great kit but I would definitely carry some back up methods for fire starting.
At only $10, go ahead and check out HardCase Survival and get one.

  1. Survival Things Our Great-Grandfathers Built Or Did Around The House

People really should avert their gaze from the modern survival thinking for just a bit and also look at how folks 150 years ago did it.

These guys were the last generation to practice basic things-for a living-that we call survival skills now.
